One person was killed, and 22 others were wounded in a shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl victory parade.
At least three of the wounded are in critical condition. And police have detained three people for questioning. There's no word on a motive.
The deceased is Lisa Lopez-Galvan, of KKFI-Radio, and eight of those injured are CHILDREN.
An estimated 1 million people gathered in downtown K.C. for the event. The shots rang out shortly after the end of the rally that followed the parade.
Some Chiefs players were still on the stage when it happened, but no one associated with the team was injured. (And before you ask, Taylor Swift wasn't there. She's back on tour in Australia.)
Patrick Mahomes Tweeted that he's, quote, "Praying for Kansas City."
Travis Kelce said, quote, "I am heartbroken over the tragedy that took place today.
My heart is with all who came out to celebrate with us and have been affected. KC, you mean the world to me."
(Profanity Warning: TMZ has UNCENSORED videos from the scene, including one where bystanders chase down and subdue one of the alleged shooters.)
