UPDATE... Darius Rucker Was Caught with "Magic Mushrooms"
A lot more was revealed about Darius Rucker's police troubles last week after initial reports were pretty vague. It turns out he was actually arrested in February of LAST YEAR, when he was pulled over for expired tags. The officers smelled weed in the car, but Darius denied he smoked that night.
Instead, he handed them a "marijuana blunt" from his pocket, so the officers searched his vehicle where they also found a THC pen and 14 unmarked pills. The pills were later discovered to contain psilocin, which is the hallucinogen found in "magic mushrooms."
An arrest warrant was issued in December and Darius turned himself in this past Thursday. While most of the internet is rallying around him with cries of "Free Hootie", there is one person that is absolutely loving that he got busted.
Darius' ex-girlfriend, comedian Kate Quigley tweeted on Thursday, "Yes. I've heard. All I can say is Karma." Followed by a heart emoji. (Ouch.) But she didn't stop there, she doubled down on Sunday with a bikini picture of herself and the caption, "#Mood When you hear your d-bag ex got arrested. #Karma"
Darius was charged with two counts of Simple Possession and one count of Violation of Registration Law with a bond of $10,500.

Someone Stole a Tower . . . a 200-Foot Radio Tower
Just a few weeks ago, a radio station in Oklahoma went off the air, after thieves cut down a broadcast tower . . . just to get $100 worth of copper from the cables. But that's NOTHING compared to THIS . . .
On Friday, a radio station in Alabama (WJLX) announced that someone had STOLEN an entire 200-FOOT STEEL TOWER. (???) Like, it's gone, without a trace.
According to a Facebook post, the station owner said that a building was vandalized . . . every piece of equipment was stolen out of it . . . and they cut the wires to the tower, downed it, and took it from the property.
The owner doesn't mention anything about surveillance . . . only to say that the police are investigating.
But something tells me that the thief (or thieves) WILL be tracked down . . . because SOMEONE had to see them making off with a 200-foot tower.

A Guy Got Shot in the Knee After Using the Ladies' Room, Because the Men's Room Was Full
Women could maybe do this, but it's tougher when you're a man.
A young guy near San Bernardino, California was at a public park the other day and needed to use the bathroom, but the men's room was full. So he figured he'd just pop into the LADIES' room real quick, which was empty at the time.
Unfortunately, two women walked in right after him and thought he was a PERV. So they went back out and told someone.
That someone was 33-year-old Rudy Vasquez, who waited outside with a GUN. And when the guy came out, Rudy shot him in the KNEE and pistol-whipped him.
People at a nearby skate park knew the victim and confirmed he's NOT a perv. He's well-liked and hangs out at the park a lot. Luckily, paramedics got him to a hospital, and his injuries were not life-threatening.
Rudy fled the scene and threw the gun out his car window when cops pulled him over. Now he's facing charges for attempted MURDER. Some people feel bad for him though, because the park has apparently had some issues lately with weirdos lurking around the restrooms.
(Here's Rudy's mugshot.)
