A Wanted Florida Woman Was Found Hiding . . . in a Couch

If you're looking for something, you should always check the couch cushions. A lot of things might get hidden in there: Your phone, your keys, your wallet, the remote . . . maybe even a FUGITIVE.

Police in Florida were looking for a 39-year-old woman named Stacy Usher . . . who was wanted on a parole violation for selling fentanyl.

They searched her home last Tuesday and couldn't find her anywhere . . . until they checked the couch cushions. It turns out that Stacy was there, hiding inside the couch.

It's unclear if they were somehow tipped off to her being there or if checking the couch was a standard part of their process.

In any event, Stacy is in a lot of trouble. In addition to the drugs and the parole violation, she has a history of fraud grand theft, and passing bad checks.
