Metallica's Robert Trujillo Steps In To Save Former Band:

It came down to Robert Trujillo to save the day when his former band found themselves short a bassist. Suicidal Tendencies, who currently employ Trujillo’s son Tye, had a scheduling conflict and needed someone to step in. So, the Metallica bassist jumped back on-stage with his band at a recent Mexico City show. Creed Unveils Plans For Reunion Tour and Festival Appearance.

They’ve announced a cruise ship festival and showed up at a pro baseball game. But now Creed has taken the final step in completing its comeback… by announcing a huge tour (and a festival stop).

Even as they prepare to unveil their new album, Green Day seems to be ramping up to something even bigger. Less than a week after they announced album #14 “Saviors,” the band seems to be teasing what might be a tour of Europe.

“Surprise!” Exclaimed the band on their X/Twitter handle. “We decided to hop on a plane and play a show in Paris.” The surprise set will take place this Saturday (Nov. 4th) at Bataclan. But it’s what they wrote as a “PS” to their tweet that has everyone talking.

“We’ll be seeing some more of you in other cities very soon,” they added with a winky-emoji. This is the second “surprise” show for Green Day this month, following a 29-song set at Fremont Country Club in Las Vegas. Where will they go next…?
