Rob Zombie Fighting Laryngitis, Cancels Vegas Show.

Of all the times of year it could happen, it’s kind of cruel that it happened during the lead up to Halloween. Rocker and horror fanatic Rob Zombie was forced to cancel a show in Las Vegas over the weekend due to vocal issues.

“We regret to inform you that due to laryngitis, Rob Zombie will unfortunately not be able to perform” at his “Halloween Hootenanny” engagement, wrote a post on social media. All wasn’t lost, however, as the post confirmed that his co-headliner Alice Cooper would “still be doing a full set as planned.”

Zombie created his own statement online, in which he admitted he was “bummed” but that it was for the best. “I have no voice,” he revealed. “Zero. I tried sound checking but couldn’t get any sound out.”

Stewart Copeland Remembers Wanting to Choke the Life Out of Sting

The Police only released five albums, but drummer Stewart Copeland says he's grateful they were able to squeeze that many out . . . because the band had been ready to implode for a while.

The cause of all the tension was Sting wanting to take the music in a different direction.  Stewart says, quote, "Sting was looking for a beautiful place, and to create something serene and moving and, dare I say, intellectual.

"For me, it's about burning down the house . . . it's a party."

He says things got particularly bad when Sting tried to make suggestions about his drumming.  That's when he, quote, "came the closest to homicide, the times when it became absolutely critical that I choke the life out of this man."
