Music News: U2 Pays Tribute To Israel Music Fest Victims

U2 Pays Tribute To Israel Music Fest Victims:

At U2's concert Sunday evening at the Sphere in Las Vegas, Bono took a moment to acknowledge the horrific events unfolding in the Middle East, specifically the massacre at the Israeli music festival that took hundreds of lives. "In the light of what’s happened in Israel and Gaza, a song about non-violence seems somewhat ridiculous, even laughable, but our prayers have always been for peace and for non-violence…but our hearts and our anger, you know where that’s pointed. So sing with us…and those beautiful kids at that music festival…" The band then began playing "Pride (In The Name Of Love)," with Bono changing the lyrics to reflect the recent events. "Early morning, October 7th," he sang. "The sun is rising in the desert sky / Stars of David, they took your life / But they could not take your pride." See the moving tribute below.

Did Creed Help Turn the Texas Rangers' Season Around???

Laugh at Creed all you want, but can YOUR favorite band do THIS???

The Texas Rangers were having a pretty mediocre season.  They were 38 and 33 at the All-Star Break.  So they started listening to Creed in the dugout just to relax and have fun.  And it turned their season around.

They made the playoffs with a record of 90 and 72 and knocked the Tampa Bay Rays out of the Wildcard round in two straight games.

Now they're up two games to NONE over the Baltimore Orioles in the American League Divisional Series, which means they're one win away from the American League Championship Series.  Game 3 is tonight.

So yes, it appears that Creed did TAKE THEM HIGHER.

Spotify is preparing to launch a new "Supremium" tier, with more features . . . and, of course, a higher price tag.
