Someone Has Finally Been Charged with Tupac's Murder

Someone has FINALLY been charged with the 1996 murder of Tupac Shakur.  His name is Duane "Keffe D" Davis, and he was arrested Friday while he was walking near his home in Las Vegas.

Police described him as the quote, "shot caller" in Tupac's murder, but not the actual gunman.  Cops raided his house a few months ago but haven't said how that affected their decision to charge him.

Davis has actually admitted in the past that he provided the gun that was used in the shooting.

He was charged with one count of murder with a deadly weapon, with a "sentencing enhancement" for gang activity that could add up to 20 additional years to whatever time he gets.  He's 60 years old.

In his 2019 memoir, Davis implicated his own nephew Orlando "Baby Lane" Anderson . . . who had been involved with a brawl with Tupac at a casino shortly before the shooting.

Anderson died two years after the shooting but always denied his involvement.

You probably shouldn't expect any more arrests.  As one former LAPD investigator puts it, quote, "All the other direct conspirators or participants are all dead.

"Keffe D is the last man standing among the individuals that conspired to kill Tupac."

Tupac's good friend Jada Pinkett Smith said she hopes this leads to some closure . . . and Flavor Flav noted how Tupac once saved his career by preventing him from accidentally committing murder
