McDonald's Is Adding Two New Sauces: "Mambo" and "Sweet & Spicy Jam"
McDonald's is adding two new dipping sauces to their menu. They teased them on social media this Monday but only revealed the date. Now we know the flavors.
The first one is called Mambo. It's based on a popular sauce in the D.C. area. They describe it as a tomato-based sauce that's "sweet, spicy, and vinegary." They tested it at a few locations back in 2021.
The second one is Sweet & Spicy Jam. It's their first BREAKFAST-inspired dipping sauce. They say it's a, quote, "jammy red pepper sauce with a tongue-numbing Szechuan peppercorn kick, and extra heat from cayenne pepper."
Both sauces will hit the menu on October 9th for a limited time. There's no word on how long they'll be around.
