SUM 41 To Release A New Single, "LANDMINES"
Last week Sum 41 singer Deryck Whibley was admitted to (then discharged from) the hospital for pneumonia. Now we’ve got some better Sum 41 news to share: they’ve announced a new single.
Ahead of the band’s appearance at When We Were Young festival in Nevada next month and their upcoming album “Heaven :x: Hell,” the band will release a new track “Landmines” on Wednesday (September 27th). “When I wrote ‘Landmines,’ I had no intention of writing an old-school ‘pop punk’ song,” admitted Whibley. “It just came out really quickly, and I knew right away that this song felt special to me.”
Earlier this year, Sum 41 announced they would go their separate ways after 24 years following the worldwide tour in support of the approaching album. In addition to their When We Were Young appearances on October 21st and 22nd, the band will play an additional “Sideshow” on October 20th in Las Vegas’ Brooklyn Bowl.

PARAMORE Teases Something New.
Paramore’s reunion album, “This Is Why,” only came out last February, and the band already seems to be teasing something new. In a cryptic video shared to Twitter, the Hayley Williams-led band shared three dates along with different rearrangements of the album title.
“This Is Why” is dated “9.28” (or September 28th), “Why Is This?” on “10.2,” and “Is This Why?” on “10.6.” No one knows exactly what these titles are yet, but there’s speculation they could be new songs, B-sides from “This Is Why,” or even a deluxe version of the February release.
Either way, we’re going to get one answer on Thursday, but check out the video here and decide for yourself.

Keith Richards Says His Clean Lifestyle Is a Unique Experience
The indestructible Keith Richards has adapted a clean lifestyle in his later years, which he calls a "unique experience" for him.
He says he gave up cigarettes in 2019, cocaine in 2006, and heroin in 1978. You might know about his Nuclear Waste cocktail, which is a mix of vodka and orange soda. Well, he's given that up, too.
But don't get it twisted, he'll have alcohol occasionally because he's, quote, "not going to heaven any time soon."
Keith says, quote, "I'm blessed that physically this [body] just keeps going. So far, I have no real problem with getting old. There are some horrific things that you can see in the future, but you've got to get there . . .
"I'm getting along with the idea of being 80, and still walking, still talking. I find [aging] a fascinating process. But then if you didn't, you might as well commit suicide."
