Music News: Marilyn Manson Sentenced On Assault Charges.

Marilyn Manson Sentenced On Assault Charges.

You’ve heard a lot from us this year about controversial rocker Marilyn Manson and his multiple ongoing legal battles. Now, one of his cases has wrapped up, and the rocker is going to have to pay up and serve a little time.

A New Hampshire judge sentenced Manson to 20 hours of community service and fined him $1,200 following the rocker’s No Contest plea to simple assault charges back in July. The charges stemmed from a 2019 incident at a show in the state, in which videographer Susan Fountain claimed Manson spit on her.

And as if that wasn’t enough, Fountain says he returned to where she was working in the stage pit to blow his nose on her arm and hands. Manson originally pled not guilty but later changed his plea to no contest, which isn’t a legal admission of guilt.

On the heels of Blink-182’s announcement of their first album with their OG lead singer, Tom DeLonge has revealed how close he was to never singing again. “I remember telling my wife, ‘I don’t think I’m ever gonna play music again, I don’t think I’m ever gonna tour again,’” revealed DeLonge. What changed? His replacement, Mark Hoppus, revealed he’d been diagnosed with cancer. “Then I was like, ‘That was the only thing I wanna do,’” confirmed the singer's desire to return to Blink-182. While Hoppus was eventually declared cancer-free in 2021, he revealed the chemo had “wrecked” his vocal cords, paving the way for DeLonge’s return.

Here's Blink with a preview of their new song that we will Worl Premiere at 9 a.m. Thursday!

98 Degrees Says 'N Sync Stole Their Reunion Thunder

98 Degrees is on a 25th-anniversary tour, but you wouldn't even know it . . . because all anyone can talk about is 'N Sync getting back together even though it was for only one song.

And in a recent interview, Nick Lachey said Justin Timberlake and company STOLE THEIR THUNDER.

He was kidding, of course.  And his brother Drew added, quote, "When one succeeds, we all succeed.
