Danny Masterson Was Convicted of Rape . . . But Armie Hammer Won't...

Danny Masterson was found guilty yesterday of forcible rape against two women.  The jury deadlocked on a third count.  He's facing 30 years to life in prison.

 

 

Masterson was accused of raping the three women at his L.A. home between 2001 and 2003 when he was starring on "That '70s Show".

 

 

Masterson has denied all the charges.  He was first tried last year, but the jury deadlocked on all three counts.

Meanwhile, the L.A. District Attorney announced that Armie Hammer would NOT be charged with sexual assault, due to insufficient evidence, after investigating the case for more than two years. 

Basically, they weren't able to prove that anything that happened between him and his accuser was non-consensual.

 

 

Hammer issued a statement saying, quote, "I look forward to beginning what will be a long, difficult process of putting my life back together now that my name is cleared."
