Fall Out Boy Guitarist Joe Thorman Returns After Mental Health Leave.

“Hey everyone, I’m officially back!” posted Trohman on Instagram. “I want to thank everyone for the love and support while I took some time away to focus and get healthy for my friends, my family, and myself.” At the time, Trohman claimed his mental health was “rapidly deteriorating,” which was the most recent in a long history of struggles with addiction and depression.
But Trohman’s return is upbeat, as he thanked his temporary replacement, Ben Young, for filling in. “He is a true gentleman and a scholar,” wrote Trohman, before confirming that he “can’t wait to see everyone on tour this summer!”
