A Woman Ran Herself Over . . . Then Cops Gave Her a Ticket
Rules are rules, but this sure added insult to injury . . .
A 61-year-old woman in New Jersey accidentally RAN HERSELF OVER with her own car Monday night. Then on top of it, cops gave her a TICKET.
It happened in Hackettstown, New Jersey, about 40 miles west of Newark. She was getting out of her 2014 Lincoln . . . didn't put it in park . . . and it ran over the "left side of her body."
Paramedics got her to a hospital, and luckily she survived. They said her injuries were serious, but not life-threatening.
After the car ran her over, it kept going and crashed into another car. But that's not what she got the ticket for.
It turned out her registration was expired. So cops cited her for driving an unregistered vehicle.

A Woman Tried to Rob a Grocery Store . . . Failed . . . and Went Back to Shopping?
You know how thieves might threaten a clerk . . . demanding money "OR ELSE!" . . . and the "or else!" always seems scary? Well, in this case, the "or else" was just "I'll go back to shopping in the store."
On Monday, a woman in Texas named Brandy Ackerman walked up to a grocery store clerk and pulled a knife out of her jacket. She demanded that the clerk open the cash register . . . but the clerk refused.
So Brandy put the knife back in her jacket and said, "Oh I was just kidding anyway." Then, she went back to shopping. She later paid for her items, and left. (???)
Brandy was gone when the cops showed up, but they later caught her and charged her with aggravated robbery. She's being held in jail on $150,000 bond.
