Criminals: A Guy Went to Church, Got Naked, and Baptized Himself

A Guy Went to Church, Got Naked, and Baptized Himself

Someone should have told this guy that getting baptized just washes away ORIGINAL sin.  Any sins after that are on you . . .

Cops in Mesa, Arizona arrested 20-year-old Jeremiah Sykes over the weekend after he walked into a church . . . got NAKED . . . tried to baptize himself . . . and then punched a cop.

Someone at the church called them around 2:45 P.M. and said a naked guy had climbed into their baptism fountain and refused to leave.

When police got there, he was wandering around outside . . . still naked . . . but with a blanket, he apparently took from the church.  Cops say he admitted that he was stripped down because he wanted to baptize himself.

They arrested him for trespassing and indecent exposure.  Then once they got him to jail, he took off a sock and threw it at them . . . punched a cop in the head . . . and hit another cop in the face when they tried to stop him.

They tacked on charges of resisting arrest and two counts of aggravated assault.

A City Official Used Tax Dollars . . . to Fund His Own Hobby Zoo?

We've heard about government officials stealing tax dollars for their own use . . . usually for their own campaigns or to fund their own extravagant lifestyles . . . but we haven't heard of THIS before.

A former city official in Ohio has been sentenced to five years in prison for taking public money to fund his own ROADSIDE ZOO.

He blew more than $300,000 on A wildebeest, owls, several other exotic animals, custom-built enclosures, pressure washers, outdoor grills, a projector screen, a popcorn cart, and a snow cone machine.

There were other items too, which may or may not have been for the zoo:  Hot tubs, an above-ground pool, kayaks, a drum set, a gazebo, a drone, a video game system, tricycles, telescopes, and even a dishwasher.

He pleaded guilty to felony corruption, theft, tampering with records, and a misdemeanor count of dereliction of duty.  In addition to serving time, he was also ordered to repay the $340,000 he stole.
