Pearl Jam's Matt Cameron Squashes Foo Fighters Rumors.

Pearl Jam drummer Matt Cameron has addressed recent rumors that he is joining the Foo Fighters. Following a report by The Sun, which claimed Cameron and Atom Willard of Angels & Airwaves were in line to replace the late Taylor Hawkins, Cameron responded on social media.

“FYI, the Internet rumors are false. I haven’t joined the Foos,” wrote the Pearl Jam’er on his Instagram Story. While Cameron did rock with the Dave Grohl band during last year's tribute shows to Hawkins, the drummer's denial shoots down The Sun's source, who listed Cameron and Willard as "front runners" for the drumming job.

Since there’s been no word from Willard, it seems the Foo Fighters are still without a permanent drummer for now.

Fall Out Boy Compares Surviving As A Rock Band Like "The Last Of Us"

Following the release of the new LP “So Much (For) Stardust.” Fall Out Boy wants to clarify their thoughts on their 2018 album “Mania.” Following some fan criticism that the band had gone too far into the pop genre and guitarist Joe Trohman’s admitting he wasn’t a fan of the album, Pete Wentz had some words.

“We were making albums in a landscape that was not particularly friendly to bands,” confessed the bassist. “And so we were just trying to figure out how to survive.” Wentz even compared their experience during that time to HBO’s “The Last Of Us,” with “Fall Out Boy fighting the zombies that do not want bands existing.”

"So Much (For) Stardust" was released last Friday and is seen by the band as a return to their "rock-heavy days." Check out the album track "Life From The Other Side" on the right.
