A Guy Got 16 Years for Shooting at Kids Who Threw Snowballs at Him
Here's a textbook example of overreacting . . .
A guy in Wisconsin just got sentenced to 16 years in prison . . . for shooting at a bunch of kids who threw SNOWBALLS at his car.
His name is William Carson, and it happened two years ago in Milwaukee. A group of seven kids was throwing snowballs at passing cars. One of them was William's. And when they hit his car, he got out with a GUN.
He fired multiple shots, and two kids got hit. But luckily, no one died. One was hit in the leg and another in the arm. A third kid's jacket also got grazed by a bullet.
Cops caught William a few days after he led them on a high-speed chase and crashed his car. It turned out he was drunk.
Prosecutors were hoping for a 25-year sentence. But on Friday, a judge gave him 16 years in prison plus ten years of supervised release.
