Korn Releases New Music... And Hot Sauce

Metal rockers Korn are nothing if not eclectic. The iconic band has recently announced new music with a wide range of artists… and their hot sauce. Korn will be remixing their hit “Worst On Its Way” with rockers HEALTH and hip hop artists Danny Brown and Flatbush Zombies’ Meechy Darko. The collaboration was inspired by Danny Brown’s public admiration of Korn’s 1999 album “Issues.”

Meanwhile, the band will also be releasing “Here To Slay”- a hot sauce made with hot sauce-maker Heatonist. The press release calls the new product “loaded with flavor” and lists among its ingredients chipotle peppers, onion, and… you guessed it, corn.

Paramore Sings With Disabled Fan

Paramore has continued their practice of bringing fans onstage to sing with the band during concerts. During their recent Atlanta stop, Paramore brought up disabled artist Macayla Smith for their song “Misery Business.” Later, Smith took to Instagram to express how much the moment meant to her. “I’ve been going to (Paramore) concerts since I was 13. I am 23 years old now,” she wrote. “If you would have told little me that ~12 years later I would SING ON STAGE WITH MY FAVORITE BAND?!?! I never ever would have believed you.”

The fan went on to describe how much the band’s sincerity is one of the qualities that endears her most to Paramore. “Your honesty about your struggles – with mental health, with heartbreaks, with identity, with society, etc-” says Smith. “-makes us feel understood. It makes us feel like there’s someone out there who gets it.
