Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, and Austin City Limits Music Festivals To Livestream On Hulu

Music fans will now be able to watch three of this year’s biggest music festivals from the comfort of their homes. Hulu has teamed with Live Nation to become the official destination for livestreams of the upcoming Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo and Austin City Limits Music Festivals, for both this year and next year. 

Hulu will have two different live feeds for each festival, running Friday through Sunday, while both Bonnaroo and Lolla will have one feed for Thursday. Some select performances will air exclusively for subscribers of Hulu SVOD at no cost, plus there will be behind-the-scenes footage and more. 

Up first is Bonnaroo, which runs June 16th to 19th, with headliners J.Cole, Tool and Stevie Nicks, with Lolla to follow July 28th to 31st, featuring headliners Metallica, Dua Lipa, J.Cole, and Green Day.

ACL takes place over two weekends, October 7th to 9th and October 14th to 16th, with headliners Red Hot Chili Peppers, PinkThe Chicks, Kacey Musgraves, SZAFlumeParamore, and Lil Nas X.

Tom DeLonge Shares Trailer For Directorial Debut

The well-known interest Tom DeLonge has in aliens and UFOs is crossing over with an artistic first for the Angels & Airwaves rocker as the trailer for his debut as a director is out. The movie “Monsters of California” has UFOs, bikini models, and Richard Kind.

The movie seems to be a horror-comedy, and the cast is impressive. Besides Kind, the movie features Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover girl Camille Kostek, model and actress Gabrielle Haugh, Days of Our Lives star Arianne Zucker, and Casper Van Dien of “Starship Troopers” fame.

The movie is set to release later this year.

• "Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers"Kendrick Lamar.  This is his fifth album.  Last Sunday he released the song "The Heart Part 5".  Its music video has his face morphing into different Black public figures like KanyeWill SmithO.J. SimpsonKobe Bryant, and Jussie Smollett

SMASHING PUMPKINS took part in a handprint ceremony at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.  They're the first rock band to do so since KISS in 1976.
