Red Hot Chili Peppers Get Their Star On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame
Fans were out in full force yesterday AM for the dedication ceremony. Anthony Kiedis, Flea, Chad Smith, and John Fruiscante were all in attendance in front of hundreds of cheering fans. Fruiscante even licked the star once it was revealed.
The USC Marching Band and Song Girls were there to provide attendance to everyone on the streets. Woody Harrelson was also present and spoke in honor the band. “These guys really are amazing people and they really care. And on top of all that, they were the first to really make the common ordinary sock a central part of the fashion wardrobe."
In his speech, Fruiscante thanked the fans, saying, “I want to thank everybody in the world who our music means something to, and all the people who came out here today." He also added, “When I was 11 years old, I panhandled on this street. When I was in high school, I marched on this street playing trumpet in the Hollywood High marching band. … I know this street inside out, and this street knows me. And whenever we’ve traveled around the world, this street has always been a part of me. And I’m really grateful that now we can be a part of it.”

Pantera Launching New Beer
Pantera is coming out with a new beer, Vulgar Display of Lager, which comes at 5.9% alcohol by volume (ABV). Not only is the beer named after their classic 1992 album "Vulgar Display of Power," but it has the same iconic artwork of the guy getting punched in the face. The beer starts shipping on April 5.
The official description of the beer says it has a “complex flavor profile that is cold fermented for the crisp and refreshing experience you’d expect from a world class German Lager.” It's been brewed in Long Island, NY at Great South Bay Brewery. This isn't the band's first beer, as they released Pantera Golden Ale back in 2020, which is brewed by Texas Ale Project.

Bud Light Is Buying San Antonio a Round of Beer, in Honor of Eric Church
The joke's on ERIC CHURCH. And rightly so. You cancel a concert a few days before it's happening so you can go to a basketball game, and people are going to jump all over it.
That's what the marketing department at Bud Light is doing. They're buying FREE BEER for the people of San Antonio on Saturday at 8:00 P.M, which is the exact day AND time the show was supposed to start.
Here's their announcement on Twitter: "San Antonio country music fans. We heard there was supposed to be a big event Saturday night that got canceled. Come get a round on us instead at the River Walk."
People can get their free beers at six different places: Elsewhere, Coyote Ugly, Madd Dogs British Pub, Michelinos, Smoke - River Walk, and Thirsty Aztec.
