A Woman Called 911 Because KFC Shorted Her Chicken Order
A woman from the Cleveland, Ohio area called 911 because KFC shorted her chicken . . . and apparently, management wasn't helping her out.
She told the dispatcher that she paid $25.99 for eight pieces of chicken, but only received four pieces. She said she went back to KFC to complain, but the manager claimed he was the one who packed the bag, and he gave her the correct amount. She ended her rant by saying, "And I want my chicken."
The dispatcher waited for a beat, and responded, "Okay, that's going to be more of a civil matter, you'd have to take it up with [KFC] . . . there's not much the police can do about it." An officer was dispatched, but he told the woman he was unable to help her get her chicken.

A Guy Broke Into a Gas Station But Couldn't Get to the Register . . . So He Just Stole Some Candy
This is like breaking into a bank . . . realizing you don't have a plan to open the vault . . . and stealing a stapler off a desk on your way out.
A man broke into a gas station in Greenfield, Wisconsin overnight last week. He entered by using a crowbar to smash the glass front door.
But there was a problem: He couldn't access the registers, because they were behind a wall of BULLETPROOF glass.
So, what to do? He had already broken in . . . he was wearing a cool, all-black burglar outfit . . . and he didn't want to leave empty-handed.
He looked around, saw a garbage can, and just started filling it with candy and energy drinks. Then he carried it out to his vehicle and left. (???)
It's unclear how big the garbage can was . . . or the value of the items he stole. Police are still looking for him.
