Potholes Are Being Plugged with . . . Phone Books?
A nasty pothole was causing major problems for drivers on a country road near Youngstown, Ohio on Monday. Apparently, at least EIGHT cars pulled over with tire damage within a short amount of time.
So a local police officer sprang into action. He couldn't patch the pothole so he did the next best thing . . .
He temporarily filled it with a couple of PHONE BOOKS that he saw lying along the side of the road. (???) He also placed a cone next to the hole . . . and helped a few people change their tires. The road has since been patched.
