Martin Scorsese must be a total Deadhead because he's working on ANOTHER GRATEFUL DEAD project.
Back in 2017, he executive produced a documentary on them called "Long Strange Trip".
And now, Martin has teamed up with Apple to direct a biopic about the band. So far, all we know is that JONAH HILL is going to play lead singer JERRY GARCIA. (Jerry passed away in 1995 from a heart attack at a rehab clinic.)
It's not clear what part of the band's career the film will focus on. But it WILL include their music. Considering who they are as a band, we can probably expect it to be groovy.
