Guy with a Sword Starts a Fire in the Street and Then Chugs Captain Morgan
This definitely sounds like too much fun for a weeknight . . .
Cops in Titusville, Florida were out on patrol around 2:00 A.M. last Thursday when they spotted a fairly large FIRE in the middle of the road. (Titusville is on the eastern coast of Florida, about 40 miles south of Daytona Beach.)
The flames were four feet high, and the fire was right in front of a guy's house. So they figured he had something to do with it . . . especially because he was out drinking on his porch and holding a SWORD for some reason. (???)
The guy's name is Scott Taylor, and he's 37. According to the cops, he kept drinking as they talked to him . . . and started CHUGGING from a half-gallon of Captain Morgan. (Maybe it's just a coincidence, but Captain Morgan also carries a sword.)
He eventually agreed to drop the sword, and also a knife that was in his waistband. But he couldn't explain why he started the fire, or was too drunk to remember.
It turned out he's been cited for illegal burns five other times in the past six months. So this time, they arrested him.
Once they got him to jail, he intentionally broke a sprinkler and flooded his holding cell. He's facing charges for reckless burning of lands, and felony criminal mischief.

Washington State Sheriff Warns Of Fake Movie Money:
A Fall City, Washington grocery store has prompted the King County Sheriff’s Office to send out a warning to businesses in Washington state. A clerk at the store said a man used a $100 bill to buy $32.03 worth of gas, cigarettes, and Laffy Taffy; he got his $67.97 in change and left. Unfortunately, the bill he paid with said “For motion picture use only” across the back and “For motion picture copy money” on the front. It may sound funny, but the Secret Service says prop money has become the most commonly used counterfeit money today. Double-check your big bills!
