Machine Gun Kelly & Slipknot Beef On Twitter

Machine Gun Kelly and Slipknot have beef. We told you before that MGK called Slipknot “old, weird dudes with masks” on stage as they both performed sets to close out Chicago’s Riot Fest. Well, the feud is heating up.

It turns out Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor took shots at the rapper-turned-rocker on a podcast back in March when he talked about “artists who failed in one genre and decided to go rock.” Now, Corey has shared “receipts” related to their beef on Twitter. Back in January, a few months before the podcast, Corey was in talks to collab on a track with MGK and Travis Barker… but it didn’t work out.

MGK has revealed the collab on Twitter, saying Corey was supposed to do a verse on a song for his 2020 album “Tickets To My Downfall,” but that it was “terrible” so he didn’t use it. As he calls Corey “bitter,” Corey has posted DMs of their emails from when the collab was still in the works. Check it out below.

  • In the purported emails with Travis, the Blink-182 drummer says he and MGK loved the vocals but added some notes from MGK (which were full of compliments). Ultimately, Corey responded that he wasn’t the right person for the collab. Corey writes on Twitter that he “didn’t do the track because I don’t like when people try to ‘write’ for me.” – and that’s all he’ll say on the matter. Check out the tweets below.

She began her career with the all-female band The Runaways, then started her own band with The Blackhearts. Her single "I Love Rock and Roll" was #1 for eight weeks in 1982.

On Monday night, the Rolling Stones played their first gig since Charlie Watts' death last month. And Mick Jagger kicked it off with a tribute to Charlie.
