Little Caesars' New "Calzony" Is Half-Pizza, Half-Calzone?
It's 2021, and we're still inventing new ways to eat pizza: Little Caesars just unveiled their newest concoction . . . a hybrid called the "Crazy Calzony" that's half-pizza, half-calzone.
If you've never had a calzone, just imagine a pizza folded in half with all the toppings on the inside. So they're not reinventing the wheel here. But each Calzony actually has four MINI calzones.
They basically took a normal pizza and cut it into the sides to make the outer edges foldable. So each Calzony is cross-shaped, with a square of pizza in the middle and a calzone attached to each of the four sides. They cost $8.50 and they're a limited-time-only thing for now.
