Music: James Hetfield & Metallica Milestone, Dave Grohl, RATM, and More!

James Hetfield of Metallica is 58.

Metallica's "Nothing Else Matters" hit one billion views on YouTube.

If you watched the new Disney movie “Jungle Cruise,” you’ll hear a new version of Metallica’s classic hit “Nothing Else Matters.” The band has reached a new milestone on YouTube thanks to the extra attention being brought to the track.

Metallica’s music video for the original “Black Album” version of “Nothing Else Matters” has officially reached one billion views on YouTube. That’s double the views of “Enter Sandman.”

Besides the premiere of “Jungle Cruise,” the timing of the milestone is convenient since Metallica is gearing up to release the 30th-anniversary edition of the “Black Album.” Check out the “Jungle Cruise” version of “Nothing Else Matters” to the right.

Dave Grohl & Daughter Violet Perform At Lollapalooza

Dave Grohl’s daughter Violet made a cameo during Foo Fighters’ set at Lollapalooza on Sunday. The daddy-daughter duo performed their cover of “Nausea” by X, which they released earlier this year.

The Foos closed out Lollapalooza with a 19-song set that included their biggest hits along with some covers, including their take on “You Should Be Dancing” by the Bee Gees and Queen’s “Somebody To Love.” Dave surprised the crowd by bringing out his daughter Violet at one point for their duet.

"Not only is she the most badass person I know in my life, but she also likes to listen to the punk rock music that I like to listen to too," Dave said on stage, "We're actually related to [X’s drummer DJ Bonebrake] cause my grandmother's name was Bonebrake and that's no [BS]. So Violet and I decided we'd record a song together to pay tribute not only to the band X but also to our family." Check out the performance to the right.
