Two Scientists Discovered A New Frog Species & Named It After Led Zeppelin

A new species of frog is getting a "Whole Lotta Love" after being named in honor of legendary rock band Led Zeppelin.

Two scientists discovered the tiny frog species last year in Ecuador's Andes Mountains. It’s called Pristimantis ledzeppelin, or "Led Zeppelin's Rain Frog." The duo who discovered the species last year believes the amphibian can only be found in a remote area near the Peruvian border, and they advocate for the new species to be protected.
