In response to the Texas winter storm’s destruction, Operation BBQ Relief has returned to Houston to provide hot meals to families and first responders.
The team will serve the first meals on Monday, February 22. They expect to serve upwards of 2,500 meals each day to families, first responders, and disaster relief volunteers.
After serving over 350,000 meals in the wake of Hurricane Harvey in Houston and the surrounding affected areas, Operation BBQ Relief returned for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo's 2019 World's Championship Bar-B-Que Contest, taking home the overall grand champion trophy.
