I'm not sure how you could watch"Tiger King"and come out thinking GOOD things happen when you're around big cats and the lunatics who own them.
There's a 50-year-old guy named Dwight Turner in Davie, Florida. And he recently went to a small private animal sanctuary owned by a guy named Michael Poggi to pay $150 for a, quote, "full contact experience" with a black leopard.
And as soon as Dwight got into the cage . . . the leopard MAULED the hell out of him.
He spent a week in the emergency room and needed multiple surgeries after the leopard did a number on his head and right ear.
Michael WAS licensed to have the leopard, but not to offer the contact experience . . . so now, he's been cited for maintaining captive wildlife in an unsafe condition. (ABC 10 - Miami)
