Update. Old School Wrestler Marty Jannetty Discussing His Claim that He Killed a Guy
If I were former pro wrestler Marty Jannetty, I would be seriously walking back my Facebook claim that I killed a guy. And Marty SORT OF tried to do that in an interview yesterday.
But he ultimately came off sounding like he DID IT. Or at least he BELIEVES he did it.
His strongest denial was actually kind of weak. He said, quote, "I said he disappeared, I didn't say I killed him. I said he disappeared."
He also said, quote, "I'm not saying right now that he died, but I'm just saying a person don't need to die because they're [effed] up in the head."
But Marty slipped up about halfway through the interview, when the host said Marty's would-be rapist deserved to die.
Marty replied, quote, "I can't say he deserved to be kill . . . uh, I didn't say I killed him."
He added, quote, "But he deserved to get his ass beat. And when I was beating him in the head with a brick, I was only trying to beat his ass, I wasn't trying to kill him."
Then he said, quote, "Can you imagine dragging him to the river and throwing him in? And then finding out on the news this guy is missing? And you know the dude. And you know more than that."
And then, more ominously, he said, quote, "Alls I know, man, is that no other kids had to worry about him."
(You can listen to the interview here. WARNING: It contains profanity, plus some borderline racist and homophobic content. I guess Marty maybe isn't the best dude?)
(He sounds like he has mental issues, or he's seriously drunk or high . . . or maybe ALL OF THE ABOVE. And it certainly sounds like if all this really did happen, he's far from over it.)
Old-School Wrestler MARTY JANNETTY Admit to Committing Murder on Facebook
MARTY JANNETTY was never the biggest name in professional wrestling, but he was pretty famous in the '80s and early '90s as part of a tag team called THE ROCKERS with SHAWN MICHAELS . . . who went on to WAY bigger things.
But Marty might finally get the publicity he deserves . . . as a MURDERER.
In a recent Facebook post . . .which no longer exists . . . Marty claimed he killed a guy when he was 13 years old. Supposedly, Marty was working at a bowling alley in Columbus, Georgia, and he used to buy weed from a gay co-worker.
One day, the dude tried to pull Marty behind the building and sexually assault him, so Marty OFFED HIM.
He said, quote, "That was the very first time I made a man disappear. They never found him. They shoulda looked in the Chattahoochee River." Marty is 60 years old, so this would have happened around 1973.
Police in Columbus say they WILL look into this . . . but they have several active homicide cases that are more important right now.

The craziest thing about Marty's post is that it might not even be the most ridiculous thing he's ever said on Facebook.
You may not remember this, but back in 2017, he asked for some advice on whether he should have sex with a woman he previously thought was his DAUGHTER.
The story went that in 2014, he found out he had a long-lost daughter named Bianca. But in 2017, they discovered that he actually WASN'T her dad.
So he said to his fans, quote, "We both held out of sex because you don't do that, but now that we ain't [related]???? From a guy's side, she's [EFFIN] HOTT . . . but she's been daughter. I want to too but can't get past that."
(For the record, if Marty and Bianca DID hook up, it didn't last. Because Marty's "murder" post was actually aimed at a Jamaican woman named Winnie, whom he was breaking up with.)
(No, he wasn't threatening to kill her too . . . although he seems unhinged enough to do it. He was just saying he didn't let that guy behind the bowling alley hurt him, and he wasn't going to let her do it, either.)
