Music News: The Oasis Reunion Tour Saved Liam Gallagher's Life

The Oasis Reunion Tour Saved Liam Gallagher's Life

For Liam Gallagher, the Oasis reunion tour wasn't just a major cash cow . . . it was a matter of LIFE AND DEATH.

Someone tweeted him the other day, thanking him for "staying healthy" and "living like a monk" for the shows.

And Liam replied, quote, "Oasis saved my life. It's about time I sorted my [head] out. I know how much this means to people so stopping drinking and smoking and snorting . . . are sacrifices that needed to be made."

Oasis still has several gigs in South America between now and November 23rd.

Joe Walsh is having a street renamed in his honor in his hometown of Wichita, Kansas. Joe once did a sweet, sentimental short song called "Where I Grew Up" about his time there.  (From his 1991 album "Ordinary Average Guy".)

The street is near INTRUST Bank Arena, where Joe's VetsAid benefit will happen this Saturday night.
