Jessica Rabbit Is Getting Her Own Movie

First it was Miss Piggy . . . now Jessica Rabbit is getting her own movie. But Disney will have nothing to do with this one.

Gary Wolf is the creator of Roger Rabbit and Toontown.  "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" is based on his 1981 book "Who Censored Roger Rabbit".

And in a new interview, he revealed that he recently got the rights to the property back from Disney, and he's already got some new projects in the works.

The one that's furthest along is the Jessica Rabbit movie. But get this: It's LIVE-ACTION.

It's based on his 2022 book "Jessica Rabbit: XERIOUS Business", and it sounds like a PREQUEL, focusing on Jessica's pre-Toon life as an actual human secret agent in the real world.

Wolf would still love Disney to be involved, along with all the people who made "Roger Rabbit" such a success, like Steven SpielbergRobert Zemeckis, and Charles Fleischer as the voice of Roger.
