Liam Neeson has threatened to retire from action movies before, but this time he means it. Supposedly.
He says, quote, "I'm 72 . . . it has to stop at some stage. You can't fool audiences. I don't want [my stunt double] to be fighting my fight scenes for me."
Liam doesn't have an exit date in mind, but he says, quote, "Maybe the end of next year. I think that's it."
Will Neeson's next act be in comedy? He recently finished filming a remake of "The Naked Gun" with Pamela Anderson. And Pam says he's got the chops. Quote, "It was hard to keep a straight face in scenes together."
But first up is his latest action flick, "Absolution", which hits theaters November 1st.
