Metallica’s James Hetfield Files For Divorce From Wife Of 25 years
It’s strange when a celebrity manages to keep a secret, but Metallica frontman James Hetfield pulled it off. TMZ has learned that he filed for divorce from his wife in Colorado earlier this year, and it stayed out of the press this entire time.
James and Francesca Hetfield married in 1997 and have two daughters and a son together. Sources say the two remain in touch despite the divorce because of the kids. It was James’ first marriage.

The 1975 Replace Rage Against The Machine At UK Festival
Rage Against The Machine announced last week that they were canceling their upcoming UK and European tour because of Zack de la Rocha’s leg injury, saying that doctors had told him that traveling and performing wouldn’t be in his best interest. This left a hole in the schedule for the Reading & Leeds 2022 festival, but they’ve found a replacement on short notice.
Organizers confirmed on Friday that RATM would be replaced by The 1975, which is great timing for the band as they get ready to release their fifth studio album on October 14th. The Reading & Leeds 2022 festival kicks off on Friday, August 26th.
