Seether Added To New RRHOF Exhibit

Seether is the latest to be added to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s new “Right Here Right Now” exhibit. The exhibit takes visitors on a journey of the evolution of rock n’ roll and its impact on the current generation of chart-topping artists with memorabilia and interactive displays.

Seether’s display features carefully curated items from the band’s 20-year career, including Shaun Morgan’s signature green acoustic guitar, handwritten lyric sheets, and setlists. They join the exhibit that already includes big artists like Billie Eilish, The Lumineers, The Alabama Shakes, Harry Styles, Lady Gaga, and more.

"Growing up on a pig farm in South Africa, I had many dreams of being a 'rock star' in America, something that was deemed impossible at the time,” says Shaun in a statement. "It is such an incredible honor to be recognized by the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, this is a huge milestone for Seether and is by far one of the most important highlights of our career."

Corey Taylor Planning Solo Tour This Spring

If Corey Taylor gets his way, he’ll be hitting the road this spring. The Slipknot frontman has revealed plans to do a solo tour in late April and May.

In a new interview, Corey says it’ll be a short, three-week tour – but so far he hasn’t revealed what cities he’ll be hitting. He promises the trek will be “completely socially-distanced,” complete with spaced out “pods,” temperature checks, and required proof of a negative COVID test within 48 hours.

Corey is itching to get back on the road especially because his live crew needs work.” “This is the test to see if we can start to kind of inch back towards reality with these in place,” he adds. “At least until the vaccine has had a chance to kind of do its thing.”

Record Store Day Bringing Back Drops For 2021

Record Store Day is making some changes again this year due to the coronavirus. Like last year organizers are bringing back RSD Drops, one set for June 12th and another on July 17th.

“We're not quite there yet with crystal ball technology, so we're still going to be extra-cautious in 2021 and bring back the RSD DROPS,” organizers share. “As with the successful RSD Drops dates in 2020, the focus this year is on supporting indie record stores with sales, and saving the big parties, shows, in-stores, crowds, and celebrations for (fingers crossed) Record Store Day 2022.”

So far a list of Record Store Day releases has not been announced, but they are expected to be revealed “soon.”

Eminem Responds to Cancel Culture with a New Video

It was only a matter of time before cancel culture came for EMINEM . . . and he was ready. He didn't write a new song, but he did release a video for his track "Tone Deaf", from his most recent album, "Music to be Murdered By"

The chorus goes, "I can't understand a word you say (I'm tone deaf) / I think this way I prefer to stay (I'm tone deaf) / I won't stop even when my hair turns grey (I'm tone deaf) / Cause they won't stop until they cancel me."

The Lemonheads Evan Dando Performed At A Walgreens To Thank Them For Finding His Wallet

Evan Dando recently lost his wallet and was so thankful to the people who found it that he treated them to an impromptu performance.

The Lemonheads frontman took to social media last month with a plea about the wallet, which he lost in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. “I dropped my wallet with my drivers license and two debit cards in it,” he tweeted. “I was walking from the mariner hotel to the palmer lot…. please have a look if you are on them streets.”

Eventually he got the message he was seeking, with a guy named Mike Ghelfi replying, “I work at Walgreens in Falmouth and your wallet was just turned in to us,” adding, “I’ll keep it in the office safe until you can get it.”

Evan did come in to get his wallet and to show his appreciaton he decided to bring out his guitar and sing for his heroes, treating them to the song “Confetti.” Check it out to the right.
