Quentin Tarantino has been talking about making a third Kill Bill movie for years. He's always said the new movie would star Nikki, the daughter of Vernita Green (played by Vivica A. Fox), seeking revenge against Uma Thurman's The Bride. Thurman's character murdered Green in front of her young daughter in Kill Bill: Volume 1. Tarantino laid this out in an Entertainment Weekly interview back in 2004:
“I’ve already got the whole mythology: Sofie Fatale [Julie Dreyfus] will get all of Bill’s money. She’ll raise Nikki, who’ll take on the Bride. Nikki deserves her revenge every bit as much as the Bride deserved hers.”
According to Variety, Vivica A. Fox has revealed that she is campaigning hard to have Zendaya play her character's now-grown daughter in a sequel. Doesn't mean it's going to happen, but it sounds pretty badass. Let's hope Tarantino is into it.
