Green Day released a new song called "Oh Yeah!" . . . and it samples Joan Jett's version of the Gary Glitter song "Do You Wanna Touch Me? (Oh Yeah)".
And they understand how uncool some people might find that since Gary was convicted of child sexual abuse, rape and child porn. So they said they're donating the royalties from the song to IJM and RAINN." IJM is an international human rights organization and RAINN is the Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network.
James Hetfield Sets Public Return After Rehab
Metallica frontman James Hetfield isready to return to the public eye after undergoing treatment for addiction. As we previously reported, the band canceled some “WorldWired” tour dates after announcing that Hetfield was headed back to rehab.
Now, it’s been reported that Hetfield will appear at the opening night of his Petersen Automotive Museum exhibit, “Reclaimed Rust: The James Hetfield Collection.” As you may recall, Hetfield donated ten of his classic custom cars for the exhibit last year.
