The "Friends" Reunion Special Might Not Happen After All
A few months ago, we heard that there was a"Friends"reunion special in the works with the entire cast. It was going to air on the upcoming HBO Max service.
Well, it might not be happening after all.
Deadline.com says the negotiations have come to a standstill, with the cast and studio VERY far apart on money. An HBO exec says, quote, "There is interest all around . . . [but] today it's just maybe."
