A Cop on the Verge of Retirement Was Busted for Stealing Police Department iPhones
Nothing good ever happens to a cop two days before retirement.
There's a 50-year-old police officer named Christopher Johnson in Rockville, Maryland, and he's JUST about to retire after a 25-year career.
But . . . last week, he was busted for stealing from the department. It turns out that for the past six years, he's stolen a bunch of the department's iPhones and given them out to family members as gifts.
He's facing one count of misconduct in office, which is a misdemeanor.
And it's not clear if this is going to affect his pension.

Two Friends Beat Each Other Up While Arguing About "How I Met Your Mother"
I can't imagine being this into a TV show. Especially one that's been in re-runs since 2014 . . .
A 33-year-old guy in Wisconsin named Alan Huschka went to the Redskins-Packers game in Green Bay on Sunday with a good friend named Brian Heywood. And they were both drinking. Then after the game, they drove to a bar and KEPT drinking.
They finally drove home drunk around 12:30 in the morning. And WHILE they were driving, they got into a physical fight in the car . . . over the CBS sitcom,"How I Met Your Mother".
Alan was driving and started punching Brian. Then Brian punched back. So they finally pulled over . . . got out of the car . . . and continued fighting on the side of the road.
Another driver called the cops, who showed up and arrested Alan for driving under the influence. Turns out it's his fourth DUI arrest.
His friend Brian claims he was acting in self-defense, and he's not facing any charges. But it looks like he got some pretty good licks in, because Alan's right eye is swollen shut in his mugshot.
It's still not clear what got them so heated. We thought maybe one of them loves"How I Met Your Mother,"and the other hates it. But when the cops asked Alan, he said they BOTH love the show.

A Subway Employee Robbed Her Own Store to Teach One of Her Coworkers a Lesson?
You never want to see a sandwich artist break bad.
A guy was working at a Subway in Las Cruces, New Mexico around 7:00 P.M. on Monday when a man and a woman in masks killed the power for the store, busted inside, threatened the guy, and robbed the place.
But as they were yelling at him, the guy recognized one of their voices . . . it was his 22-year-old coworker, Lorena Marin.
He called the cops and they tracked down Lorena and the guy she was with, a 19-year-old named Angelo Espinosa.
They admitted they'd robbed the Subway . . . and the police say Lorena told them she did it because, quote, "she wanted to teach one of the employees a lesson about what could happen late at night in that part of town."
Lorena and Angelo were both arrested for robbery.
