Music: New Soundgarden Book Covers Band's Complete History

New Soundgarden Book Covers Band's Complete History

Fans have the chance to dive into Soundgarden’s history thanks to a new book by Greg Prato. “Dark Black and Blue: The Soundgarden Story” just hit shelves and can be ordered online HERE.

The book covers everything in the band’s history from the early beginnings to Chris Cornell’s untimely death. Fans will even get a look into the lives of the band members before they joined forces, which the author points out are stories that haven’t really been covered by previous biographies.

“For some odd reason, there have been few books written about Soundgarden’s career… despite quite a few fans such as myself strongly feeling that Soundgarden was one of the greatest grunge bands [and] rock bands ever,” Prato says in a statement. “Realizing this flub needed to be corrected, I have constructed the first-ever book that recounts Soundgarden’s complete history.”
