Latest School Closings
- Anahuac ISD will be closed today, Sept. 19, due to inclement weather. Anahuac ISD will resume classes on Friday, September 20 at our regular time.
- Barbers HILL ISD is canceled for Thursday, September 19th
- Beaumont ISD has canceled all classes and activities for Thursday.
- Channelview ISD campuses and departments will be closed Thursday, September 19, 2019.
- Cleveland ISD Schools Thursday due to the weather circumstances and the road conditions.
- Conroe ISD will be closed Thursday. Students who have already been picked up by buses will be taken to their school and held there until they can be safely dismissed.
- Dayton ISD canceled school Thursday.
- East Chambers ISD schools will be closed Thursday, September 19,2019due to inclement weather. Classes will resume Friday, September 20, 2019.
- Galena Park ISD will be closed Thursday
- Galveston Independent School District has canceled classes for students Thursday.
- Hardin ISD will be closed Thursday.
- Holy Trinity Episcopal School will be closed today-Thursday, September 19, 2019
- Huffman ISD will be closed Thursday
- Humble ISD is closed Thursday
- Liberty ISD will be closed Thursday due to inclement weather.
- Livingston ISD will have a two-hour delay to the start of school on Thursday. Classes will begin two hours later than the regular schedule.
- Lone Star College-Kingwood along with LSC-Atascocita Center and LSC-Process Technology Center are closed Thursday, Sept. 19, 2019.
- Mainland Preparatory Classical Academy will be closed Thursday
- New Caney ISD and all district schools will be closed Thursday, September 19.
- Resurrection Catholic School is closed Thursday, September 19th.
- Rhodes School for the Performing Arts is closed Thursday
- Santa Fe Independent School District has canceled classes for Thursday due to heavy rain and possible flooding.
- Sheldon ISD administrators have joined other area school districts in closing school today, Thursday Sept. 19, out of an abundance of caution.

- Willis ISD schools are closed today due to weather. Friday is a staff development day.
The weather Service said that “torrential flooding rainfall” would be occurring over the next few hours.
