More Rockers Pay Tribute To Late Ric Ocasek

The Cars frontman Ric Ocasek’s passed away at 75. And as we reported separately, the cause of death has been revealed to be cardiovascular disease. Since the sad news broke, even more rockers have paid tribute to the late music icon on social media.

That includes The Killers frontman Brandon Flowers, who inducted The Cars into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last year. Flowers has shared an email he sent Ocasek a few years back about the impact the late musician had on his life, calling him “my first king.”

Tributes have also come from Weezer, Paul Stanley, Dee Snider, Billy Idol and Slash.

RIC OCASEK was a "prolific doodler" . . . and this was his final doodle.

Former BLINK-182 singer TOM DELONGE is divorcing his wife of 18 years.

Korn Vocalist’s House Is Haunted

Korn frontman Jonathan Davis says that the band’s new album “The Nothing” is about “the processes of grieving.” The music dives into some pretty dark subjects, including the loss of the rocker’s wife and mother last year… but it turns out those aren’t the only ghosts Davis lives with.

In a new interview with NME, the vocalist reveals that his house is haunted. At this point, he’s practically used to it, claiming he deals with paranormal activity all the time. “There’s bangs on my walls all the time, [stuff] flies off the walls,” he explains. “At this point, it doesn’t even scare me, they’re just there. All I wish for them is peace.”

Part of the issue could be that Davis has decorated his home with haunted items like shrunken heads, skulls, swords that have taken lives, and of course, a “haunted doll collection.” “I have the remains of at least seven people in my house,” he adds. “I’ve got them from all over the world, and they’ve got all different stories.”
