Has Woodstock Found A New Location?
As we previously told you, Woodstock 50 recently lost its venue in Watkins Glen, New York, but organizers vowed to find another location. Well, it seems they may have now found a new place for the event.
According to a report, organizers have applied for a permit to move the concert to Vernon Downs, a horse racing track, casino and hotel in Vernon, New York, although it looks like the event will be much smaller than originally planned. While the original site hoped to attract 150,000 concertgoers, the capacity for the new venue is reportedly only about 45,000 to 50,000 people.
·The festival was supposed to take place August 16th to 18th, and organizers still hope to keep the date. The originally announced lineup included artists like Jay-Z, Santana, Miley Cyrus, John Fogerty, Dead & Company, Imagine Dragons and more.
·ONE MORE THING! As we told you, Woodstock organizers filed an appeal over the $18.5 million they claimed investor Dentsu did not have the right to take, but they have now lost that appeal. The Appellate Court ruled the company does not have to return he money.

Hellyeah Guitarist Pays Tribute To Vinnie Paul On Death Anniversary
It’s been a year since Pantera drummer Vinnie Paul passed away at 54. His Hellyeah bandmate, guitarist Tom Maxwell, has paid tribute to the late drum legend on Facebook.
“In the blink of an eye everything changed, never could I have imagined you not being here with us anymore,” he writes. “Our record is coming out soon and I know you would be hella proud of it. We’ve committed to represent the record and honor your memory...but it’s not easy.”
Hellyeah was in the middle of recording an album when Vinnie Paul died. As Maxwell writes in his tribute, the record will come out later this year, and features the late drummer’s last recordings. Read the full post below.
