There Was a Brawl at a Dropkick Murphys Show in Boston
What would a DROPKICK MURPHYS show in Boston on St. Patrick's Day weekend be without a BLOODY BRAWL? Luckily, the world didn't have to find out.
The boys were playing the House of Blues on Friday night, when bassist KEN CASEY saw some idiot up front elbowing and hitting women. He called for security to take care of the guy, but then he jumped onto a barricade and started yelling at him.
That's when somebody threw a beer can that hit Casey in the head, opening him up. Luckily, things didn't get any worse. Security bounced the guy, and Casey was fine.
In fact, even after he got bloodied up, he was trying to jump back into the action, but his bandmates wouldn't let him.
A source says, quote, "Ken is not afraid to stand up to anyone who is ruining the show for someone else and the band has been clear that they won't tolerate abusive behavior."
(WARNING: There's profanity and a homophobic slur in the video.)

Dick Dale died yesterday morning, after suffering a heart attack. He was 81.
He was a big deal in the '60s, and was known as the King of Surf Guitar. You know him from the song "Miserlou" off the "Pulp Fiction" soundtrack. He was the first guitarist to have a bigger amp made especially for him by Fender, because he'd blow the other ones out. And he was a huge influence on rock, especially guys like Jimi Hendrix and Eddie Van Halen.
Dick Dale did a version of "Pipeline" with Stevie Ray Vaughn in the 1987 movie, "Back to the Beach." They also appeared in it as themselves, playing the classic surf song.
