HOUSTON - Nowadays, most people would think a chance meeting between one-time political rivals in a heated election would be anything but cordial, but a recent encounter might just change your mind.
Republican Sen. Ted Cruz and Democrat U.S. Rep. Beto O’Rourke bumped into each other this week at Bush Intercontinental Airport, about a week after the pair faced off in one of the most contentious and expensive Senate races during the 2018 midterm elections.
