The Rod Ryan Show has teamed up with Houston Boxer Rescue to bring you the featured dog of the week! Today is Maya:
Hi, I’m Maya! I've spent my whole life outside, tied to a tree. So my world was very small and very lonely.
Since being rescued, I have learned how to sleep in a kennel, on a dog bed, and how to use the bathroom outside. I’ve learned how much fun dog toys are! More importantly I’m learning how to be part of a family. I know how to get along with other dogs, and I can get along with kids too.
Sometimes I get a little bit shy and/or nervous around new people or in new situations. I’m very smart and I’m learning everything very fast. I’d be a great family member for someone that wants a quiet, gentle, goofball in their lives.
PS - If you were wondering what in my genes makes me this darn cute than you should know that I’m part Boxer and (most likely) part Great Dane.
