1. The Eagles Upset the Patriots in the Super Bowl and Thwarted Tom Brady's Comeback Attempt
The "underdog" Philadelphia Eagles upset the New England Patriots to win the Super Bowl 41-to-33. Philadelphia went ahead early but then Tom Brady brought the Patriots back to take the lead in the fourth quarter. The Eagles were able to strike back, and then shut down Brady to win.
Foles was named the Super Bowl MVP not bad for a guy who was riding the bench all season until Carson Wentz was injured in December.
2. Pink Fought Through the Flu
The Super Bowl performers were totally overshadowed by an amazing game, but they still brought it. LESLIE ODOM JR. kicked things off by singing "America the Beautiful".
Next up was PINK with the national anthem. Earlier in the day, she had mentioned on Instagram that she was battling the flu because her kids, quote, "literally cough into my mouth and rub their snot on my cheek."
But she still rocked it and nobody knelt, by the way. You may have noticed that Pink had to take something out of her mouth before she started. It was a cough drop.
3. JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE's halftime show was pretty basic
he did a medley of his hits, like "SexyBack", "Can't Stop the Feeling", and "Cry Me a River" . . . plus a new song called "Filthy".
It was all very sanitized and non-controversial, as Super Bowl Halftime shows are nowadays. The biggest set piece was a giant, projected image of PRINCE with whom Justin sang a duet of "I Would Die 4 You".
Justin was obviously playing to the home crowd, since the Super Bowl was in Prince's hometown of Minneapolis.
At one point, they showed an aerial view of the area around U.S. Bank Stadium bathed in purple light, which formed the classic Prince symbol. And new star was born last night: Selfie Kid.
4. Thousands of people took to the streets of Philly after the game.
And yes, there was some chaos, including fires and an awning that collapsed because too many people were standing on it. #PhillyPoliceScanner even started trending.

6. "Saturday Night Live" did a great Patriots / Eagles sketch,
set in 1775 and they brought back TINA FEY and RACHEL DRATCH for it.
8. A New NFL Bad Lip Reading video came out on Saturday.
Sure, it's probably fun to be at the Super Bowl, but you were better off wherever you were. The food prices at U.S. Bank Stadium were ridiculous.
