1. Here's the Honest Trailer for "Return of the Jedi".
2. Deadpool, the X-Men, and the Fantastic Four Might Finally Get to Mingle with the Other Marvel Characters
Disney is expected to close a deal tomorrow to purchase the film and TV properties of 21st Century Fox. What does that mean for the rest of us? Well, we could finally get to see Wolverine mix it up with the Hulk!
Long before Marvel had its own studio and was owned by Disney, it used to license its characters out to OTHER studios. And to this day, Fox owns the X-Men which includes Deadpool and also the Fantastic Four.
That's why none of those characters have ever shown up in what is now referred to as the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But if this deal happens, the floodgates are open.
Sony has the rights to Spider-Man, but Marvel made a deal with them, which is why he recently joined the wider Marvel universe.
Sadly, any Wolverine we see going forward probably WON'T be played by HUGH JACKMAN. Over the 17 years he played the character, Hugh says he fantasized about doing a movie with, say, Iron Man and the Hulk.
But he adds, quote, "I think, unfortunately, the ship has sailed for me, but for someone else I would like to see Wolverine in there."
3. Critics And George Lucas Love the New "Star Wars"
"Star Wars: The Last Jedi" hits theaters on Friday, and it'll have a huge opening weekend, of course. But will it deserve it? The critics overwhelmingly say YES.
With 160 reviews counted, it has a 94% rating on RottenTomatoes.com that's 150 positive reviews, and only 10 negative.
The movie also got the endorsement of the Godfather himself, GEORGE LUCAS. George's rep says he saw the movie and thought it was, quote, "beautifully made." And he was "complimentary" during a conversation with the director, Rian Johnson.
