Translation Error Leads To Store Promising Free Booze

A UK supermarket chain just learned a valuable lesson about the importance of accurate translations.

The grocery store Asda recently put up new English-Welsh signs in their Alcohol-Free section. Unfortunately, the Welsh translation read 'Free Alcohol' instead of 'Alcohol-Free'.

Asda thanked their 'eagle-eyed' customers for pointing out the mistake, but sadly opted to change the sign rather than start handing out free booze.
