A North Carolina teacher has been suspended over a leaked pole dancing video.
Kandice Mason works part-time as a pole dancing instructor and posted the video to a private Facebook page. But the video was leaked to school officials.
Mason was suspended with pay for violating a policy that employees are to be "role models".
Speaking of role models, Mason is a single mother of two who holds degrees in English and Psychology and 'loves' teaching. She says pole dancing helps her stay in shape and express herself.
I have so many teachers friends who are amazing people and love their jobs, and the standards they're held to outside of the classroom are ridiculous. My own social media feed would get any one of them fired! Would you care if you child's teacher was a pole fitness instructor on the side? !- Karah Leigh
